This place… built with love 💚 decorated with heart
… started with Dr. Kantipat, who was determined to build a care center for her grandmother.
She was bedridden with Alzheimer’s and had a tracheostomy to drain her mucus.
She was fed through a feeding tube and had pressure sores. During the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, many patients died. Dr. Kantipat was an internal medicine doctor at a government hospital in Pattaya.
Before going to the hospital in the morning, she suctioned mucus and fed my grandmother. I was afraid I would bring illnesses from the hospital to my loved ones.
She cared for critically ill patients at the hospital all day. She would come home at noon and evening to suction her mucus.
She would run between the house and the hospital several times a day, feeding my grandmother through a feeding tube.
She would stay up all night at her rented house near the doctor’s clinic, then wake up to continue working. This continued for almost a year.
Until the COVID-19 situation improved, my grandmother had her tracheostomy removed with the help of a surgeon.
💚 My grandmother has now gone to heaven and moved to this place to live with her grandchildren.
This place is now complete. Overflowing with love from the doctor’s heart.
Determination, love, and faith. Let the heart lead the way.
